First DIY oil change expirience, not too bad.
 

It was a very fun and laughable expirience.

I drained the sump next to the rear passenger tire with pan 1.
Then drained the sump at the base of the engine with pan 2,

BUT OH NO! What the hell was that spring that shot into the oil pan?
Searched pelican, turns out i unplugged the wrong drain plug, it was an oil pressure value. Put that back in, found the right plug, and drained it, placed it back, and changed the filter, so fourth.

Car was able to take 12 quarts mobil1 15w50 synthetic. After 8 quarts, i started the car, and let it warm up to operating temps. Checked dipstick. No results on stick. Added quart nine, checked, quart 10, checked, quart 11, finally between the two double dots on the stick. And for good luck, added quart 12, let the car continue to run, checked the oil 5 minutes later, and i was just under the second double dots on the stick by about 4millemeters.
Whew.

You might find that after a drive and car is fully warmed up oil level just might be somewhat high. Usually after an oil change 10.5 quarts brings the level up to the full mark when fully warm.

You are really better off if the oil level is on the low end of normal on the stick. Too high will cause oil to get sucked into places you don't want it to go. If after a long drive the level is above the high end of normal you will need to get some out.

Don't worry. Just let it sit for awhile, and the natural leakiness of Porsche engine seals will settle that level right back down. ;)

Oil drain trick
 

Another trick if you didn't already know is before you drain the oil resevoir is to poke a small hole in the top of the oil filter then pull the plug and drain the resevoir before pulling the filter. This will suck most of the oil out of the filter so you won't have a mess when you go to remove it. Of course still put a rag underneath it but you will find it will be much better. MGH

I remember that when I removed the tank bolt for the first time, the oil came out so fast that it overflowed my small oil pan!

Needless to say that learned quickly how to replace the bolt while the oil was flowing!

That oil change trick sure is a good idea!
