+1 keep it the way it is! I like the menacing black look and the RUF wheels in orange just doesn't work.

I like it, but then again my race car is Aubergine, and one set of my race wheels is yellow and the other set is green. Be bold make a statement.

I disagree; I like it!
Here again, I drive a bright green car...so much for being subtle.

I like bold colors but if you do it, then get tired of it, you'll have some work to do to bring it back to black. You may not be "wowed" by the black, but you'll never regret it.

Definitely not orange. Your car looks great as is. If I were to do a color, I would try a light greyish silver (really subtle). Let's see a photoshop of that guys.

I have to suggest, slapping all that aggressive Carrera and bright colors on your 911 is going to get you noticed. But the problems will come when the audi, bimmers and stangs pull up to race you. Your screaming "I'm a fast porsche" but without the engine power to back it up may be a bit of a sour note. I like the colors. But if i'm correct the Horses of a 76 911s was about 157 or so? The carrera in 76 was 230+.
Personally, I think the paint combo is pretty cool, I'd leave off the carrera script and go with the rest. That would now be a better match for the 9111s, and still look pretty sweet. I'd not tip the whale tail orange but instead if you have a wing in their like my 3.8RS tail, i'd paint that wing only the orange, and the rest like the shopped pic. Let us all know how it turns out! bet it'd be pretty cool. |

+1 keep it as is....it's a timeless classic, in my opinion. You have a very nice looking car.

buy another porsche and customize that. keep this 964 as it is.
all previous mistakes are owners making their older cars look current. e.g. impact bumpered pre-74s pain me.
