Oil Consumption:

2 qts. of 0-40 Synth (Mobile 1) in 4700 miles.

Factory break-in followed, mixed driving conditions, temperate weather.

That is interesting.

My 20+ years older air cooled 85 Carrera uses about half as much of the exact same oil (M1 0w40).

May be cause I drive like a sissy.. :D

I expect that consumption to drop as the engine gets broken in.

Porsche says a quart every ~1200 or so miles on a new engine is not unusual.

Looks like I am ahead of the curve. :)

Daily driver: rain, dirt, gravel, traffic, high-speed runs, slow crawls, fast corners, frequent details and much 3m Stoneguard.
