915 transmissions: gear sets good or bad
Can someone tell me how to tell if 915 transmission gear sets are ok to use.
Is there a spec on overall diameter or other deminsions to check? Is there some general observation points to check for? Good or bad colors to see on the metal finish? I am sure I am missing points to list here? Basically, I am interested to buy some used porsche oe transmission gears and I have no idea how to determine what is good, 1/2 worn out or an out of spec/worn out gear. Thanks alot! Bob
