Elementary Electrical Help Sought
I have a 74 motor in a 73.5. Both have CIS, though there are modest differences. Both have 14pin connectors in the engine compartment.
I have a diagram showing what pins on that connector go where for the 73.5, nothing for the 74. I'm guessing they're very similar if not identical but I'd like to check. I also guess I can't just rely on the color codes. Can someone suggest the simplest methodology? I want to go thru pin by pin and see if they track.

14-Pin Connector
Mr. Taylor,
If you need a comprehensive 14-point connector color coding for '74 to '79, I have a table in excel that I could forward to you. Please send reply to atd911@hotmail.com and will reply with the attachment. Tony |
