Very, very nice. Glad to see she just keeps getting better...Hey, where are the silver valve stem caps? No like?

Can't wait to see some outside pics...Did the wheel swap affect ride height significantly?

Still a pretty car, and if it's from Kdawg's fleet, you know it's been treated right!

Thanks "the",

I take special pride (and pleasure) in doing as many of the little things that help these cars move up a notch.

Today on the new slant I completed two such tasks. I finished painting the mesh screen on my turbo tail which was showing some wear and then polished the windshield with a special glass polish I sent for.

The windshield had wiper blade scratches that would not polish out with traditional paint polishes. The glass polish did the trick and the windshield is now scratch free.

Tomorrow it's door jamb detailing....Can't wait! It's a disease

Kilodawg: Please share the polish's name.

TwoBone: The wheels look great!

It shames me as to the shape of my cars.

Here is the kit. Do a Google search and a supplier should show up. It was under $40 and will do a number of cars. As long as your nail doesn't catch in a scratch it should come out. My windshield is 100% restored. I should have taken some before and after pics but unfortunately I didn't.

One of the products that really works (and no affiliation)....

Comes with the backing plate, two polishing wheels, polish, sealing par and sealer. Simple to use.

wheels

I will check, the valve stems covers must be on the other wheels...thanks for the reminder

On the ride height side, my front tires are 205/50 instead of 205/55, but I'm going to swap them next spring for 55 series to bring them back to the right aspect. This may raise the front end, but will help with ride comfort.

I hate to admit it, but I drove it home today in the rain, but quickly cleaned her up with detailing spray as instructed!

Cheers

Other modifications - installed rear shoulder belts

That explains why I felt a bit faint for a moment earlier today

Welcome to the Kiln Red club!

It is my favorite color. Kiln Red was only made for the years 83 and 84 as best I can tell and I see very few of them around. Here is a picture I took of her this past weekend on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Your car is very stunning. Congratulations.

What brand and color spec silver did you end up using on the wheels?
