First dyno run coming up - sweet
Just signed up for the tech/dyno day event our local PCA (MSR) is having at Pat Williams in Memphis in November. Not sure why I am even excited about this as my SC cab is pretty stock other than a topend and some upgrades.
Oh well, what the heck. Be nice to see how close to design output the car is running... or not. |
Good luck and be sure the tech applies the various factors to the results that allow for temp, height above sea level, etc.
Then let us know. |
From what I have read, the 3.0 engine regularly show at least what PAG quoted, sometimes more. The 3.2 engine typically dyno 215-225 bhp ie slightly less than quoted (231). At least regarding the euro engines.
You might be in for a lucky surprise! :) |
Well, I signed up for 2 slots. I am hoping to have the Frankenmuffler back in time to do a swap between runs to see what it will do, for fun of course...:D
See the ol' Frankenmuffler thread here... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/361410-frankenmuffler-can-shane-build-50-9lb-less-muffler.html?highlight=shane+muffler |
No offense but no matter what muffler you run on an STOCK sc you will see almost NO gain in HP but rather throttle response improvments and sound
