You should really ask over at the paint forum. Be sure to post year, paint color, etc....

I's usually not as easy as painting the single panel.

Do yourself a favor. Just drop it off at a shop .
In today's world you can't even buy the chemicals
For the price of a spot repair.not to mention prep time for
The spaying environment. I am a very very good painter
With the right equipment and compressor set up. and I wouldn't
Even bother.

It's just not worth it. And you will never get the tint or blend right
your first time. just bite the bullet and drop it off,

You,ll thank yourself later

We'll see the thing is ive got a good painter who will do it for substantially less than usual pricing but ive also got another friend who has a paint shop and he said i could do it over there and we'd just do it together, id just have to pay for paint.......and the fender is already off the car so i dont have to tape anything off...........and my bad, i never realized there was even a paint forum on here, im on the technical and engine forum too much to notice haha

I would think your expert painter friend that is going to help you should know where to get paint, if not it sounds like maybe that person is not so "good", I would find the closest body shop recommended by people on the paint side of this forum and get them to do it. Aren't there ins. companies involved in this situation? Out here people estimate $1k/panel. No mention of the car year or pictures, that might help if you post. If the undercoating is messed up that needs redoing also.

Auto parts stores used to carry paint, now only a few of the old-time stores do. Choose a brand, and their website will usually have links to local distributors.

Very unlikely that the paint will match, mixing is an art. So is spraying, the fender probably needs to be blended into the adjacent panels. I've painted a few panels on my racecar, looks ok with graphics to distract you, but would not be great for a street car.

It can be that simple if it's original Glasurit. But no information is provided by the OP.

Good idea you can thank us later , just for laughs
Look up how much a quart of basf is with reducer
And hardener. Then add up sealer with mixes
And primer with hardener '. Your already at $400 +

Paint related material is out of control these days,
