Ignition, Lack of! on my 1967
The car was running before I removed engine parts for sand blasting, cleaning and painting. When I put it back together it wouldn't run! So I changed the Dizzy cap and rotor arm, because they looked pretty grotty. Still no good. I have fuel. I don't have 12v on the high side of the coil, when following the cable back to the ignition unit 12v is still not present, but if I disconnect the cable from the ignition unit 12v is on the spade connector at the unit. Is it normal that the 12v drops when connected? Is there some test's I can do?
Thanks in advance.
James.
