75c shifter fix.....

There was no spring action whatsoever.
75c bungee. Has just the right tension!
Until I get the new shifter, this works a treat!
I just might make a few fancy looking ones and sell them for $50.00;)

can you make one in carbon fiber?

dagriff 10-22-2007 07:48 PM

Carbon Fiber $10 extra.
I could write "TUNER" on it for free.

RWebb 10-22-2007 08:23 PM

how about TUNER + carbon fiber "look" and an extra 3 cents?

YES.

bkreigsr 10-23-2007 08:15 AM

so you'd have two models available?
R & L drive
plus options like - orig bungee look, cf look, and maybe brushed al. look?:D

On a more serious note, is there a possibility that keeping tension on the shifter when it is in gear would lead to accelerated gear wear?

I just drive with my feet.

I need my hands for the cell phone, can of beer, and chess game...

If you make a "Type R" one, I'll bet you'll sell 'em by the truckload.
