Carfax shows damage- how to check extent?
 
My father is looking at buying a 2007 Honda Ridgeline from a dealer. The dealer ran carfax and disclosed that it had some front end damage but did not know extent.

How can we find out the extent?

Red Flag because it is a 1 year old truck that this dealer bought at an auction with CARFAX already showing a collision.

Dealer says the carfax did not show the damage amount or where it was repiared. Does this sound right?

Take it to a competent body shop and have them look it over.
