Turn signals issue

I thought my issues where solved once my turn signals starting working last week...it turned out my battery died and got a new battery and now I have the same turn signals issues and its driving me nuts...replaced the turn signal switch, and nothing ..the H4's are the only add ons and no I do not have the relays...when I added the h4's everything worked fine...then one day my turn signals stopped working (at night) when I turned the headlights on.

the above photo is of them blinking with the headlights turned off, they blink and I can also see indictor lights on my speedo. They work during the day when i don't have to turn on the headlights

The above photo shows my headlight turned on and then when I try to use my turn signals they do not blink and the indictor lights on my speedo are not showing they are blinking....

I have checked bulbs, fuses and all wiring everything seems fine...

My driver's side blinker was on the blink, but it was the wiring behind the housing. The connections were not good and needed a little cleaning and one of the connecting tabs on the housing needs to be replaced.
I now need to find a new housing!

Your problem sounds like possible grounding somewhere from your headlamps.
Since you checked your fuses, bulbs, & wiring it may be your headlight switch that is faulty?? Just a guess though...when you do find it I hope you post what it was.

Does any have a photo of the wiring behind the housing? I changed mine and i want to make sure I did it right??

This is a pretty simple circuit according to the schematic. But, since you said you rewired something there is no telling what is happening. When I was diagnosing my problem I traced it to the switch and was able to duplicate the problem, still I found a flaky fuse that helped mask what was happening. In the end you are probably going to find the problem in the switch and you will either have to clean it or replace it. Then, go looking around in the threads for some guidance.SmileWavy
