Vehicle Lift Fully Operational
Having provided a temporary placement for the newly acquired Clarke Strongarm Vehicle Lift, I have now completed the more permanent installation. I say permanent, but it could be moved, but is bl**dy heavy.
The base is a sheet of 8' X 4' 19mm WPB - the lift sits nicely on this - almost made for the job. The planks to park the car on are 3m of 7" X 2", and by sitting the planks at the side of the WPB, they are just right for the wheel placement ![]() Here is the setup and the car at 2/3 full working height. ![]() ![]() More photos on my photobucket. http://s124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/Highfield_Photos/Vehicle%20Lift/ Looking to do another track day at Donington, then the Midlands Breakfast club and off the road at the end of November for the suspension removal, refurbish, upgrade and replacement. Ian

Congrats Ian! You will soon be wondering how you ever survived without a lift. PS, I like the fancy brick job, I have been wanting to do that in my backyard for some time now.
