Vehicle Lift Fully Operational
Having provided a temporary placement for the newly acquired Clarke Strongarm Vehicle Lift, I have now completed the more permanent installation. I say permanent, but it could be moved, but is bl**dy heavy.
The base is a sheet of 8' X 4' 19mm WPB - the lift sits nicely on this - almost made for the job. The planks to park the car on are 3m of 7" X 2", and by sitting the planks at the side of the WPB, they are just right for the wheel placement  Here is the setup and the car at 2/3 full working height. Congrats Ian! You will soon be wondering how you ever survived without a lift. PS, I like the fancy brick job, I have been wanting to do that in my backyard for some time now.
