mating engine and transmission - tight spaces
 

I had this problem recently and thought someday somebody else will have limited room to work and won't be able to get the tranny on a floor jack. Here, the car is just to the left of the pic and there was no way to get a floor jack in there.

Putting the trans. on a creeper (with lumber for spacers) and using the 944 scissors jack (that we all should have) to align the splined shaft actually worked.
