911S Engine Color
What is the correct red for the 1973 fiberglass engine shroud? Anyone have pictures?

Some pics here of various shrouds, including some red ones.
These have invariably faded over the years, so if you are looking to restore one, don't paint it--the color was in the pigment in the resin, and a top-coat will never look the same. Try red shoe polish instead. TT

The '75 "S" in the US got a green shroud - it is more like an E is some ways
the early cars got red for an S; green for an E much later on all cars got a black shroud some racers got amber... |

I painted mine guards red, the same color as the car. true, it's not original but it sure looks great!
