Cars and coffee in Houston Saturday?
As a Houston Pelicanite, I would like to know if anyone has an interest in cars and coffee this weekend in Houston, Tx. If anyone is interested, please list your preferred location. As of yet, there are two people I know of who will be interested aside from myself.

Good luck JMZ. I'll be out there to on Milano Myst Beneteau 49. I'd look you up in Port Aransas but we're not going to dock at the finish but turn around and head right back to Houston. Weather reports look great especially for the ride home in 7 footers and 15 to 20 knots. Yahoo cowboys. Better get some more Dramamine.

Roger that Tom, I'll see you on the starting line. It looks like were be starting in the same sequence. We're in the same division (different class).
I've often thought about just running down the channel in Port A. to the finish and turning around and heading back. Have Fun! Weather forecasts looks really light for the start ![]() ![]() All you at the cars and coffee have fun. Next time!

Sounds possible for me to join in the cars and coffee. Got some commitments in the Sat am. I usually do my dead dinosaur burning Sun mornings in the navasota/brenham area.

Just a reminder that PCA is "gathering" at the Woodlands Town Center on Nov 4th for a concours. Would be cool if we could all hook up. FYI, the location is very "spouse friendly" with many shops and restaurants. Town Center has a neat "Eurpoean Village" ambiance. Good photo ops. I'll start a thread on the TexMex site. Let's see who'll gather.
Be sure to check their website first...just in case of cancellation.

I live in Kingwood Texas and would really like to meet and get to know fellow Pelican Members in the Houston area.
What is the best way to find out about local meetings / events. Thanks for your time and information. Best regards, Daniel Womack Booney1golf 85 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa |

Booney, Pelican's occasionally set up stuff here, but it often gets moved to the regional board. Also, check out the LSR PCA webpage (Lone State Region Porsche Club of America). They have stuff. Also, it's probably a bit late, but the PCA in Austin usually does a get together in Oct that they call "Porschedillo" that's pretty fun.
The biggest problem with Houston and get togethers is just that, the place is so darn big. But stuff happens from time to time. I asked where you live which is silly, since that's in your first line, hah.

Thanks Steve for the tips of where to look. This website has been a great find for me. I find myself doing something to my car every week.
As far as Houston being big. I will drive to meet any of you in this area if I know with a little advance notice that you all are getting together. Thanks for your time and reply. I really look forward to meeting all of you in the Houston and surrounding areas. ![]() Best regards, Daniel Womack Booney1golf 85 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa - And I though Golf was addicting! |
