faded paint restoration (gull ****)

Today at the Montreal Orange Julep resto....the 911 parked in front of the picnic tables...A !"/$%?& gull bombarded my car with his ****...The car surface was hot...I removed it may be 10 minutes later...Now there is a mat stain on the paint surface...And I'm unable to restore the shine at this location...Any trick somebody...???

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but in 30yrs experience in the autobody biz I have never found anything that repairs the damage caused by bird*****.

Claybar followed by a good polish (I use Klasse), followed by a good Carnauba wax or polymer acrylic final coat (I use Rejex)...

If in doubt, call the folks at www.properautocare.com. They'll have the answer (if there is one).

Problem solved....I got a new windshield installed...Happened today...I'm not happy
And at this shop...a specialized guy in automotive paint ask me if he can try his stuff on that stain mat mark...And it worked...don't know the product...a kind of compound...but the fact is : it can be repaired...

Syl: It would be really helpful for the rest of us if you would call the shop, or go back there, and get the name of the chemical they used.

I asked to the guy...and he tell me it is only availlable to shop...It's a 3M product.
