Carrera Side Scripts Help!!!

I always love the look of the Carrera side scripts on an SC.
My car is Chiffon White which really looks almost too classy. I think some subtly Carrera scripts will give it a little edge and besides I like how it looks, and i can change them or take em off when think it's time.

1 :So Far I am thinking, - light green similar to sea foam green/pea green.
2: white - i like the white
3: black- not a big fan to prominent.

Any thoughts and opinions, - just a quick photoshop mockup, i know the spacing isnt correct. Any suggestions. I am leaning towards the light green

Green or black.

Nice looking car.

Cheers

#3 but #1 is close 2nd.

I think Carrera scripts look best when they match the wheel centres so number one as the wheels are or three if you re-paint the centres black.

Subtle is good......here's mine on a recent trip to Corsica.....;)

I like the black best; but the green is very subtle and looks good too.

Nice photoshop job!

I like #1 - sporty yet understated.
I've been wondering about something like this for my car, but have been struggling with the color (Zinn Metallic). I think the off-shade colors are difficult to work with, but IMHO you've nailed it.

That's a tuff choice in your color. I was going with #3, but the more I looked at your car, #1 grew on me.

Silver would be nice as well.....or Carrera in an outline....I also do 911SC in side scripts....

Paulporsche 11-09-2007 05:23 AM

I like the subtleness of either the white or the silver. Both work w/ your wheels.

axl911 11-09-2007 05:51 AM

Here's silver on white. In sunlight, the silver script almost blends into the paint. Kinda cool.

Jon,

I would not put them on you car. It looks just right the way it is..

jwernquist 11-09-2007 07:10 AM

Thanks everyone for all the tips... I think now after seeing the silver i am torn. I'm either going with the green or silver.

MikeZ I will be emailing you in a little bit.

Thanks again for everyones input!

I like #1.

I'll also be calling Mike, except I'm going with the early PORSCHE script in white most likely, on a '69 coupe in pastel blau.

dugsud - your car is drop dead gorgeous!

looks alot like my new wheels!

+ 1 on the wheels match the script suggestion

Color matched wheels. So I went with black to complement the bumpers.

Its an sc right? Maybe just "Porsche" then....

Put a piece of the white vinyl on your car, I don't think it will look as bold as your photo seems. I think white on chiffon white would be nice.

mkaraoglan 11-09-2007 10:52 AM

agree. same color vinyl as car would be nice and subtle.

wachuko 11-09-2007 11:18 AM

I have a set in Silver that I bought from MikeZ... and decided I am going to go with Black instead...

Let me know if you want them.

Mike, do you have a pic of what the 911SC graphic looks like? TIA
