Nice. Now you have to keep the engine spotless. Looks good

I like it! Did you paint it black or did it come that way from Home Despot?

There was huge long thread re: the purchase of this stuff. A fellow Pelican, Ove, from Norway found it and eventually packed up a couple dozen sheets and shipped it to US. Dunno if anyone has sheets they don't want.

Check this thread for info:

You can find the aluminum mesh on this website: www.biltema.no ( Norway ) or www.biltema.se (Sweeden ) Search for (søk) "grillnetting".

I emailed Wayne a few days ago re: that Biltema website thinking he might strike a deal to import and sell it thru Pelican. Maybe he will in time if there is enough interest shown. Due mostly to shipping mine ended up costing about $42 per sheet...those on the East coast were considerably less.

I'm still kinda surprised we could not find this, or even close, in the US. Lots of folks looked.

I think I found it at

I love the precision of the Porsche owner. Other car forum I have been a member of when my persuasion has been in other vehicles would have owners literally putting GUTTER MESH into their grill openings and then wondering why it started rusting in about a month. Of course you would want stainless or aluminum and not clear coating over raw steel.
