'87 Carrera Club Sport purchase *complete*

Thanks for all your help and insight! My offer was accepted by the owner of the CS tonight, and I'll be picking her up on Sunday. I pray for sunshine.

I will snap some photos ASAP (weather permitting) and post them to the board. I can't possibly convey how excited I am about my first 911 (at age 33)--and your opinions were all considered before I took the plunge. Thanks again.

Congratulations! Welcome to the fold. The Club Sport makes for a pretty auspicious start in the 911 world.

What great news! Despite my gloomy "think about it" post I was rooting for ya!

What a neat find...take good care and watch the tail slides...

GOOD JOB! You'll never look back (unless its at the punk who just tried to test ya!). As was mentioned before, talk to your Porsche club ASAP and sign up for driver education. Even if you don't think that you'll be driving agressivly, take the course, one day you'll be pushin' her around a corner and you'll thank god you took the course. Its also a great way to find reliable wrenches and make good contact. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!! Woo hoo.

Congratulations. I don't think it would be even possible to regret your decision.

for example, if you find the ride somewhat harsh and noisy, I have a very smooth, quiet SC you might like better. I'd be willing to swap. I'll even throw in some undeveloped real estate in Florida. Think about it.

Congrats Adam,
what a great choice. I, along with many others are drooling. How many miles and what did the PPI come up with, was the owner willing to compromise?
