What the heck is wrong with this pedal cluster?

My pedals don't line up.. The car had been converted from LHD to RHD. Can anyone spot why this cluster is misaligned?

according to PET a RHD cluster should look like

and the original LHD cluster should have looked like

Looks like your clutch pedal just needs to be adjusted "up" to be more in line with your brake. This done at the trans with the cable length. Do a search here for details. What looks odd to me is your gas pedal. You may want to confirm full throttle at the engine. That can be adjusted a bit as well. Most of the linkage on these pedals has some amount of adjustment.

I had a look at that but at the base of the clutch pedal is a stop which prevents it coming out any further.

I cannot adjust the brake any closer to inline with the clutch because the pivot point for the linkage bar over-centers and the pedal will then go to the floor without resistance and without pushing the linkage

Almost looks like the clutch arm is bent.

Yea, it sure looks like one of them is bent. Not sure which one though (but to me it seems the brake pedal is a bit off angle).

rotorhead, take a look at the thread i just posted to, I included some pics of my pedal box, you may be able to use it as a reference. Refer to the one in the "pedal-up" position, it looks like your brake pedal is coming too far towards the driver:

Pedal box question regarding the clutch

Thanks for the link that cleared a few things up for me. I appears that the clutch pedal shaft has been cut an re-welded and the brake pedal shaft has been bent to an accute angle.

I guess if I get a replacement brake pedal and the correct clutch pedal I should fix the problem.

Thanks for the input guys
