911 Targa - Searching for Gunmetal Blue color code
As a young man in the 1970's, I fell in love with the 911 Targa in a gunmetal blue color - it looked just like a shotgun barrel.
I saw that color Porsche off & on for a number of years starting in the mid-1970's and I still see it once in a while. What is that color code (or name)? I'm having a tough time tracking it down. That's the color Porsche I want to get. Thanks, |

Hi. I'm pretty sure the colour you're referring to is Petrol Blue Metallic , colour code 376. Available on SC's from 1978 to 1980. It was one of the first colours I fell in love with on a 911.

![]() Pacific Blue This was my color of choice as well. The only thing better would be to have a Turbo in the garage next to it in the same color. Oh, and a 993, same color. I know 993's didn't come that color but I would paint it. ![]()

That Pacific Blue is a beauty. Another suggestion was Venetian Blue (#36P-35U)
Anyone seen this one? |
