Got half my rims today

I bought some rims from a fellow pelican out of Cali. about 2 months ago and a buddy of mine came back home to Virginia for the weekend and brought the rims.

Nice wheels. The gold center with silver rims is very period (back in the day, a rim was, well, a rim).

I'm sorry, but to me, that "rim" terminology being applied to the whole assembly is just misleading, and it grates on me to find it becoming common usage.

I still have to order the barrels and its hard to choose the path i want to go, cause as the car sits right now 1969 911T w/ sc flares, iroc front bumper, iroc tail 2.4 with webers. My plans are to turn it into a 1973 RSR with 2.9 twin plug and use the rims for a 17x9 17x11 but those are only plans and I might just buy the barrels to make them fit what I have now.
