73 engine relay console

I have a 73 basket case I am wrapping up and require some help . My engine relay panel has no rpm sensor or clip for screw mount so I assume it does not need one . Also it has a rear defroster and two stage relay in place but no single stage relay . Should it have both ?

Is this a '73.5 CIS engine car? If so, it would not have an rpm sensor relay. Some people remove them as unnecessary, and the clip may have been removed, if still equipped with MFI.

With a two-stage defrost relay in place you don't need the round single-stage relay.

MFI now CIS

It was a MFI engine but I now have a 77' 2.7 CIS in it . So both of your observations mean I am in OK shape . I will try to locate the fuel accumulator for the CIS and an RPM transducer ,convert the needed wires and try start-up . Thanks for the help .
