Won't start, but is turning over

It looks like the car dos not get gas or don't get a spark. Its turning over nicely. Happen after 2 month storage. Please help on where to look.

And what type of car are we dealing with here?

Svensson911T 11-17-2007 09:24 AM

Sorry its a 911T from 1969, all standard.

I'd first suspect the gas has leaked out of the carb float bowls--that's the simplest answer--and it will take a bit of cranking to refill them. Aside from that, do your simple diagnostics first. Check for spark (easiest thing to do), then check if fuel is entering the carbs throught the connections, and then if actually being "shot" into the throats when the butterfly is opened. Just sitting for two months probably resulted in a simple problem.

Hi,
When this has happened to me, I always check the fuel pump fuse, twice that has been the thing that was causing the problem.

Thanks for your help, I will hope to fix it next weekend
