Factory Wheel Touch Up Paint
Like many of you my wheels have a tiny bit of rash on the edges. I've ground it smooth with a wet-stone but need to try and get some correct touch up paint. My wheels are the factory silver. Anyone have ideas or sources? Thx ....

Wurth products are good. Rust-Oleum Satin Black is very near the original finish of Fuchs and available everywhere.
What wheels are you repairing?

Check my post out on 993 wheel refinishing if you want to see what Wurth silver can do.....
PS. You will need the clear as a topcoat as well

The silver that Porsche frequently uses is either code 924 or 925.
I have also used Standox brand straight 590 silver Toner as it blends well with the existing wheel paint. You can spray the section of the wheel that you want to repair with an adhesion promoter such as BullDog...follow with a color coat out to the next nearest spoke that is undamaged...then clear coat out just beyond the color coat and 'melt' the edge of the blend in with a blending solvent such as Blendzall. The paint supplies are available at any good bodyshop supply. I get supplies from Senik and The Paint Store. Good luck with your repair. Cheers, Cooper
