What to do with the chrome when I put my 911T to sleep in the winter

What do you do with the chrome, when you store your car? My car is in a cold but dry garage. Thanks for your help:)

Clean, polish and rub down with a little vaseline on a rag. Use the wipe on, wipe off method.

Check out a motorcycle shop. They have PS1000(?) spray that inhibits corrosion. I've used on my HD a few times, but it is a ***** to clean off in the spring.

WD40 or any spray lubricant works well on any type of metal. It wipes off very easily. Just don't spray it on your rubber trim.

Cheers

Lots of pure wax is good, too (several coats allowed to dry between coats). Won't work with the other "soft" things mentioned, so it's one or the other. The others will just dissolve the wax.
