Help - Shop for PPI near Howell, MI - one that knows 928's...
Gents,
I'm cross posting this from the 928 board since I know this one is more active... I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a shop that knows 928's for a PPI on an 89 928S4 near Howell, MI (which is in the NW suburbs of Detroit). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Shawn

Munks in Waterford but watch your wallet there
 Jeff Jones @ Automotive Techniques in Farmington Hills. Not super close to Howell but you can trust Jeff.

The Rennlist water-cooled board can give you some good info.
Do a search here on Munk's - you'll be glad you did. Never, NEVER again for anything.

Thanks for the input all...
I've heard that Jeff Jones is very good, though that's where the current owner brings his car for service, so was hoping to bring it somewhere else for a completely objective view....

Another vote for Jeff Jones.
I understand your reluctance because Jeff does work for the present owner, but, in my opinion, a reputable P-mechanic is not going to put his reputation on the line for the money he is going to make on doing a PPI. I also recommend doing a search on Munk's to put that issue to rest.
