930 Trailing Arm Question...

I have a '71 chassis that I am putting all 930 suspension & brakes on. I know I have to weld on mounting ears for the rear trailing (banana) arms. My question is are the '87-'89 trailing arms different than earlier years? In other words, did the G50 trans cause Porsche to make these arms differently than they did with the 4-spd. 915? Just want to make all I have to do is add the extensions to the factory mounts.

Also, does anyone make a pre-fab'd extension, like what I am talking about but without having to go with the 935-style adjustable boxes like what Smart Racing Products sells?

Thanks, Marc

On non turb 87 to 89 I don't think the arms are different. The torsion tube was the different part.
Don't have an answer on the rest.

i have 87 carrera (non turbo) trailing arms and for some reason i had to use the carrera axles with the splined end. the older style axles with the separate hub flange had clearange problems. i don't know if there is a difference in axle part#s for turbos from 4sp to g50 however.
