Life is unfair
I waited 2 weeks to take delivery of my "new" 1988 911 Club Sport. Took the advice of many posters on this board--car inspection, things to look for, negotiating.
The weather in Victoria has been ideal for driving, too. Sunny days, temp in the upper 40's (around 10 degrees Celsius) for over a week. Wheee! The owner finally arrives at my home on Tuesday morning with the car, and proceeds to show me that his wife is the registered owner. "Where is she", I ask? In Vancouver on business (50 miles across the water from Vancouver Island--where I am). So I Fed-Ex her the transfer docs and she sends 'em back to me this morning. To my chagrin, the rain is back, and my crisp, dry driving weather is but a memory. I spent the 2 days that I had the car cleaning, cleaning, cleaning--waiting for my first real drive in it. Oh, the humanity!! |

I thought you were going to say they decided not to sell.

Yeah, but you really get to know a car, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Enjoy.

Geez,
I too was expecting you to say something like the seller was getting a divorce and the wife claimed the car or something! Hope it clears up for you soon. Nick. ------------------ _ ______ _ Nick Shumaker 1982 911SC Coupe |
