996 Won't Start After wash

Washed my 1999 996 cabriolet last weekend. After being finished with it went to move it and now car doesn't start. Car doesn't even crank now. Any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks.

1. Check for Battery voltage

Are you saying that it doesn't even turn over?
Does power come on in the car?
Did you wash the engine compartment?

Car seems to have good voltage. Lights come on in dash like everything is fine, just no crank

Even if the distributor was wet/problem the car would still turn over.

When you turn the key to the start position it engages the starter.
If the starter is not getting power; its likely a battery problem.
Check your connections, check your starter connections.
If the battery checks out good and connections there are good, you can run a booster cable to the starter connections and run the power direct, touch the "+" to the starters "+" and it should engage the starter to show that the starter is functioning OK?

From there we can continue if you haven't pin pointed your challenge........
Good Luck
