Throw out bearing removal, my method
This may be old news to many, but it may help others who, like me are in the middle of a clutch job. I've been reading about clutch replacement and incluced in that is the TOB. It seens that the PP has to be compressed to remove the TOB, no problem if you have a press. I have also read about having someone stand on the PP to compress it so the TOB can be removed.
BUT HEY I'm working alone and had to come up with an alternate method, that worked very well and required no "special" tools. I used 2 "C" clamps, 2 heavy washers and a metal bar to compress the PP so the TOB can be removed. Since a picture is worth a thousand words I'll let the picture say the rest. Hope this will be a help for others who seek knowledge from this board. ![]()

Looks good. I used a different "tool": a dozen donuts! The guy at the local machine shop gladly did it for me on the spot no charge with the help of my gift and his press.
