Removing AC from '77 911
I'm thinking about removing the AC from my 77 911. Does anyone have the instructions for doing this? Any reason I shouldn't do it?

How about "you won't be able to cool your interior"? I couldn't stand no AC where I live. I upgraded my system (on my '89) and it cooled as well as any car out there. You don't indicate where you are but if you get temps above 75, I would upgrade, not remove.

It is actually pretty easy. ONce the system is empty, just start unbolting everything slowly, including all of the hose brakets, etc. It took me a solid day to do this and I have never missed it. Total weight, per my scale was about 75-80 pounds including all hoses, brakets, etc. The SC compressor and mounting brackets are pretty heavy
