Does anyone know if there is a bolt on roll bar for a 86 cab?

Autopower makes one but it requires drilling in floor board. Not as strurdy as welding in the side rails.

Hi Dueller,
Do you have any pictures for example of welding into the side rails?
Thanks.

I have an 87 cab with a DAS Sport rollbar. Rollbar bolts in. It does make the car handle better on the track, takes some of the flex out of the body. One of the other guys in our Porsche club has an 86 cab with the same rollbar. Since I am on the east coast pick it up through CDOC in VA. No issues with dropping top either. Just make sure you get the one specified for the cab.

Thanks for the input. Would you be willing to post a picture of the roll bar installed?

Thanks Again
Al

I have the DAS rollbar - bolt in, bolt out using the seatbelt and seat back existing bolts.
