Here we go again! Zuffenhaus MS RSR project...

Took a couple of quick shots today ahead of moving the car to the alignment rack to do preliminary set up:

I'll also be getting measurements off of the "roll around" wheels to configure the center lock wheels.

So far, so good!

You guys wouldn't even let my old 73 911E set one wheel in that shop..looks like you must have a minimum of 4" flare in the rear for admission.

Ha! Off the top of my head; not counting the 356s, we've got 16 15x6s mounted to narrow early cars in the shop at the moment. (Including mine).

Well, that was a learning experience. We're using late doors for the extra bit of side impact protection, so that was more fun than expected:

Hard one down, 3 to go!

So, I'm sure there's a great reason, but, I noticed the rain gutter delete (A lot of work, and not for the less than talented), but in the picture, it looks like the original car has the stock rain gutters?

Good eye. That, the cage, and a handful of other items are 'improvements' over the original. The owner and I had a discussion about whether or not the drip rails needed to go back when the roof was changed; increased rigidity, and reduction of drag (A-pillars) and lift (C-pillars) won out.

(Mercifully for me!)

It will make striping it interesting, though

Take your measurements now for striping, while you still have landmarks, LOL. As always, things look great. Wish I was closer and could wrangle my way into getting you to waste some time giving a short tour. But, lucky for you I'm not, so thanks for maintaining the thread!
