I am wanting to update my 76 911 to the 993 twin turbo look. Does anybody know of any web sights dealing with this conversion. I am considering NR Auto, Rennspeed, or MA Shaw for the kit itself. Any advise or info would be very much appreciated!! OH YEAH, I will not be placing a V8 in this car. No offense Renegade!!

I am doing a 993 conversion right now. I got my body parts from Better Bodies in San Diego. You can see how extensive the work is for fitting everything on my website. I would suggest getting the best quality you can afford, it will save you time and money. Are you going to do the work yourself or have it done?

I saw your sight. Congratulations!!! Great job. I will be doing the body panels myself{with the help of a friend who owns his own body shop} but I am leaving the finishing work to him. Im just trying to get as much info as I can as to the aspects of the conversion b4 I dive in.

FYI: I just saw an ad in the last Excellence for Better Bodies. They have complete 993 conversion kits (bumpers, fenders, 1/4 panels, deck lid, etc.) for $1899. I am not sure how good those pieces will fit, but it might be worth looking into.

I think that's the basic package I got from them (its been a while) except I got the updated wing, etc. If your buddy is a good body man and knows how to work with fiberglass it might be the way to go. Just be aware there will be custom fitting required in any case with fiberglass, no matter what they tell you nothing simply "bolts on." I had to re-do every single piece to get it to fit right.
