Spindle differences?
I need to replace a bent spindle from a Bilstein strut body.
I have a Boge strut that can donate its straight spindle. Both have the 3.5" bolt spacing. Can I use the Boge spindle on the Bilstein strut body? Are there any significant differences that would keep this from working?

You can do this. The spindles were all made by the same company as I understand it.
Know that early spindles are different and use a smaller spindle nut.

With the question answered, I have a related one:
How do you know a spindle is straight or bent if it isn't obvious?
