Home Made Strut Brace
Saw a picture like of one of these in a Kremer RSR. Thought I'd try to duplicate. Used 16 gauge steel, a 4.5 inch cut off saw and it turned out pretty good. In the process of a bare metal repaint and the front trunk will be cleaned up and painted this winter.

Looks good!
I did ruffly the same thing, I triangulated a second cross bar, and love the results. Doug ![]() |

Bird. It's the word...

Great work, but shouldn't there be some 'adjustability' in the strut to either pull in or push out the towers depending on the overall suspension settings?

Strub Brace
Nope. That peice is merely to prevent the metal around the shock tower from flexing under hard cornering loads. You pull or push the shock itself by adjusting the camber within the strut mount itself.
