I'm not sure how many are "originals" but none the less, there are a bunch to choose from

Thanks for the heads up. I have trolled through ebay and bought a couple as well. I was hoping for 1 or 2 originals from the late 60's early 70's....seem to be hard to come by.
Thanks,
Nabil

I really like this one from an ebay seller. It is on his "about" page and not for sale.
I inquired about it but received no answer. Anyone know where you can get this?

Nabil, I drove through Minneapolis with my new purchase about 1.5 months ago. Missed the ring road and drove through that section of interstate that cuts through the city heading north. What a blast! Had a rice rocket and a beemer in front and an old 944 glued to my butt. Didn't see much of the city.. Check out Billbeks New Ride on this form.

lots of original posters here;

http://www.vpracing.com/Poster_Archives/poster_archives.html

if you are interested in dealing w/ them please make sure they are VERY specific re: condition & faults.

99.9% of the eBay product is small format (16 X 20) reproduction, some done under license, most not. original 60s posters are a whopping 33 X 46. at some point in the early 70s the format was changed to 30 X 40 & settled there until the present day. as a note, some dealers were known to reproduce factory posters. recently i saw a '69 Spa piece that was not the standard size. it is not original. someone offered me one of these claiming originality because it was purchased @ Vasek in the 70's. some even include factory copyright markings. caveat emptor.

billybek;
i would think that because of the age of that piece (1990?) it wouldn't be that hard to find, but i can see how that would be a popular image & factory press runs were never that large.

i see that the long out of print Lewandowski Poster book is bringing the big $$$ these days.... almost 200 Euros in a recent auction. ($350 USD) this is a coffee table book featuring a lot of the factory artwork from the very beginning until 1984. i have one w/o the dust jacket at a reasonable price if anyone is interested.

Nabil, i made you an offer on 5 posters in the post referenced above.
thanks for listening.

Try Walter Miller Auto Literature. He has a ton of posters...

Not vintage, but for sale, is an original dealer showroom poster from 1990 Carrera 4 Guards Red mint condition. 30"x40" with or without nice black frame.

Ebay for sure. I have slowly accumulated over 30 over the last few years. Be vigilant and keep in mind that once framed, a few cosmetic issues will make it look even more vintage. The hardest part for me has been finding 30x40 frames for them. A custom framing starts around $200. Does anyone have a source for simple frames?

Guys,

I've put some downloadable Porsche posters on my site.
Just click the link and the poster will download. They are quite large +/- 2 mb. Copy to your folder and find someone that can print them for you.

(You can also see the long story of my 911st recreation.)

Jim, your full size posters contain 'errors'. I can view your thumbnails just fine.

Thanks,
