muffler bypass?

I have a 76 targa 2.7 i would like to get some more sound out of it .How loud are they with the muffler bypass and keeping the premuffler ?Or should i just buy another muffler or take out the premuffler?

The muffler bypass is just that, no muffler at all. Very loud. Good for the track not so good for the street.

If you have a stock exhaust, try an M+K muffler. They are made by a fellow Pelican and sold right here. I would suggest you do a search on this forum and hear some of the different setups. Good sounds are a personal thing. I have a Flo-Pro with a Euro premuffler and love the sound although some days I would like it to be a bit louder.
