Heat working only on passenger side..

Where does one start to look when heat only blows on the passenger side footwell? Same story for the Defrost. The parking brake pull controls seem to engage the fan, but no heat.

P.S.-what a great resource this is...

Start looking at the heater flapper box on the passenger side. If the cable broke, the spring keeps it open all the time so that warm air is blown out instead of being directed to the front. Or maybe its just rusted.
If this is fine, checvk the hoses from the fan to the box. Use a hair drier for constant airflow.
