Any modded-Cabs out there that race?
I love the look of the RSR 3.8 and the 964-based RS and am mulling the idea on my car. The problem is, although the designs look great with the standard roof line, I'm not too sure about how well it would work with the Cab body (especially a wing). Does anyone have pics of modded Cabs?

Netspeed,
Not too long ago there was a tread for hotrod cabs, nothing much was posted except for the norm. I have been trying to sell mine and am tired of the BS that goes with it, so I think I will keep it and do the standard mods soon, but nothing crazy. Exhaust, chip, FG front and rear bumpers, ducktail, A/C delete, 17" wheels and a custom roll-bar that mounts to the side seatbelt mounts. A engine HP increase is in order if I ever have to open up the engine, but it currently runs like a new car, so that will probably never happen. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1196881429.jpg |
Carlos Casabal. His car is for sale.

Looks nice! I'm still not sold on a big wing for the Cabs yet....
I'd like to see one with turbo flares and an RS America wing. |
No plans here for racing or real modding other than possibly a cat/back like the B&B system. Heres a pic so you can get the idea of mine with the stock tail.
