I’m trying to find out some information on the wiring harness that connects to the Ignition Switch on a 85 911/930 Turbo.
I have two unknown wires that were spliced and I can’t figure out what they go to. The two wires on the ignition switch are close to each other. The first one is Yellow/Red Stripe and the other is solid Yellow. I think the solid yellow is for the Radio but I’m not positive on that. What is the Yellow with Red Stripe wire for? Thanks for your help in advance. |

According to Bentley, Red/Yellow comes out of Terminal 'X' and goes to fuse 5. There are Two Yellow Wires! One comes out of Terminal 'R' and goes to the radio. The other one comes out of Terminal 50 and goes to the Starter Solenoid AND the DME control unit.
