Candidate for backdate to 72/73 E look

Interested in this car for sale on ebay. Has later 3.2 engine and matching 915 transmission so should go swiftly enough. Already has narrow fenders and chrome window surrounds. What do you reckon, am I off my rocker? What about the price? I'm planning to ship to UK.

Looking at a map, I noticed that this car is located right on the coast (Lewes, Delaware), so you might want to make sure it's not rotting from the salt spray coming off the Atlantic Ocean. Otherwise, that would be a good car to turn into a longhood hotrod. I'm not excited about the price, but your currency probably makes it a reasonable deal.

Good question. I had thought of doing the same to my '74. I listed what would need to be done and my budget ran out. You could definitely make it look like a '72 though. The big thing would be changing just about everything in the interior. That would take some time getting all the pieces and putting it together.
