Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, my birthday was actually Monday. Not only did my in laws bring the Porsche back unscathed from their Seattle road trip (snow, rain, flooding, closed roads, etc...) they also gave me a PCA membership, PCA fleece, and PCA hat. My wife gave me two excellent cook books from Thomas Keller (The French Laundry & Bouchon) as well as a new camera which is sort of for the whole family. The camera is bad ass it's a Cannon Powershot G9. The pics came out great but with trying to compress them I think I messed them up. Anyhow, a quick question though, I bought a door seal from a Pelicanite and it came with these screws and washers and I nor he knows what they are for. Didn'f get them with my seal from Pelican.
See ya,

Happy B-Day!

And that is an awfully shiny 911. New paint or just hard work with the wax?

Thanks,
Well the paint job really is a 6ft. and back paint job. It's a re-paint and there must have been a weird issue I believe with the prep, but it does have a nice shine. And yes it just got a good cleaning, it was in pretty bad shape after 8 hours of I-5 driving to Seattle and back to Silverton, Oregon in the crap weather.

Actually it was only midnight. Still looking for an answer on those screws and washers, anyone?

Those screws and washers are for the felt strip on the body directly over the window frame.
The felt strip will un fold to reveal the fasteners. use your finger and lift it out towards you. you will see what I mean.
