The information on the engine seems a bit scant, would you agree?

Those aren't 8" and 10" Fuchs, either! Florida must have a lot of jerks misrepresenting 911s they are selling!

It looks like a scene from the "Shining" (redrum, redrum, redrum...). ------------------ Doug '81 SC Coupe Canada West Region PCA |

What parts would we actually be able to use. I'm not sure if that 1996 915 transmission would fit into my lowly 1987 car.
I sure as hell wouldn't touch any of the interior withoug a geiger counter... Dan Tolley 1987 911 Coupe (Red on the outside). |

I think that he is selling to a VERY small market. Too much customizing to be looking for $12K. The interior is downright U-G-L-Y.
As for the misrepresentation of info, he probably doesn't know his ass from hole in the wall and more than likely isn't trying to rip anyone off purposly. I find this with alot of guys trying to sell only you don't see it in magasine adds because they don't have enough room to say anything stupid. Call them up and ask questions, they'll tell you BS stories and all the while call it a 'Porsh'. That car could actually be parted out for more than 12k though. The 'Persition Power' (actually Precision Power 'PPI') sound system was probably big bucks... Adam Roseneck ------------------ 1978 911SC 3.0 roseneck@cyberbeach.net |
