If the product shipping/tracking program you wrote works out really well, maybe you can copywrite it & sell it to other parts companies & maybe those with products other than auto parts. I am a buyer for a large manufacturing company. I deal with "customer service" people day in and out. I can tell when salespeople and CSRs are bull****ting and when they know their stuff. Your personnel come across as knowledgeable (more so than the Porsche dealer) and unafraid to ask questions of their co-workers. Much more refreshing than those other houses. Your BBS is top-notch as are the people providing posts (I have received some excellent ideas just reading). I might suggest you contact FEDEX. They purchased one of their competitors and are working on rates. A salesperson would get a real h***-*n from your volume of business, and who knows what your rates could be. They came in lower than UPS for me. And their service levels are closer to yours than the other guys. Just a thought. I'll say it again , you guys seem to be very competitive with the other majors . Your service is excellent and your shipping is reasonable . I have been buying from you for a while now and have been pleased with the service , a case in point , you recently sent me front pads and they were the wrong ones , within days I had the correct part! (BTW I am still waiting for the pick up from UPS). I'll always pay alittle extra for good service. Pelican's prices are higher some items and less on others. The service department has done an excellant job helping with my project. To make along story short,T.D. called my mechanic when I ordered the wrong parts. That's good service.
