Bilstein Sports + 1971 ???

Just wondering if the Bilstein Sport rears will fit my '71 911

All of the listings I have found appear to be from '72 on. Will they fit and are there any mods required?

The bilstein sports for '72 and later cars most likely will cause problems for you. The steel trailing arm has a smaller diameter bolt that mounts the shock to it. Maybe if you do a search there is a way using a bushing or something pressed into the bottom mounting hole for the shock, not sure.

I put the bilstein sports on my 71 chassis, however I put a lot of work into it, changed to aluminum trailing arms, had to swap the shock bridge in the engine compartment to the later style (i.e. cut out old re-weld in new style). Way too much work really.
