16x9 Fuchs ?
Hi all,
I was about to purchase a pair of 16x9 fuchs for my 82 SC and found out that each had a different part number. One had 911.362.119 (ET15) and the other 951.362.115 (ET75). Both fuchs were 9Jx16. Whats the deal with the different part numbers? Should I still purchase them? How different are they in offset? Any thought? Ruben |
The part number of 911.362.119 is the correct part number for a 9x16 Fuchs with 15 mm of offset.
The 951.362.115 number is for a 7x16 wheel with 23.3 mm offset. If as you say they are the same wheel, laying side by side they are the same height, same back spacing ( check it with a straight edge and a ruler ) then the only thing I can say is someone forgot to change part of the die during forging. Now that we're talking Fuchs wheels; could somone do me a favour and post a picture of a Fuchs wheel seen from the inside? I'd like to see the inner side of a 9x16 at most.
