Alignment questions

I have a 73 that was in a front ender. This was supposedly fixed. It pulled to the left pretty sharply. Now, after getting a new crossmember, control arms, and getting a tug on the left side, it now has only slight tendency to drift left. Just enough to frinkin annoy me.

1) What effects do alignment have on this issue. Is it caster that determines whether a car will drive straight? The caster is set 6.1 on the left, 6.3 on the right. Could this small(?) difference be the problem?

2) What are some good alignment specs for a 73 daily driver. Some autox and hard driving.

Thanks for your input

.2 of a degree isn't enough of a difference to cause a pull. I'd look at camber which is much more of a pull inducing setting. They should be within a couple of tenths left to right.
The next thing to check is corner balance which can definitely be upset by accident repair.
